frequently asked questions
What is Vacation Bible School (VBS)?
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun and engaging summer program where kids explore the Bible through interactive lessons, music, crafts, games, and more. It's a great way for children to grow in faith and build friendships in a safe and welcoming environment.
What is the VBS theme/curriculum this year?
Our 2025 VBS theme is MAGNIFIED! Discovering the bigness of God in the smallest of things. Our theme verse is Psalm 34:3, "Proclaim the Lord's greatness with me: let us exalt his name together."
VBS will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together –– we were made to magnify God!
Who will be leading VBS?
Our VBS is led by a dedicated team of trained volunteers from our church who are passionate about sharing God’s love with kids. All volunteers undergo background checks and training to ensure a safe and positive experience for every child.
Who can attend VBS?
VBS is a drop-off children’s event and is open to children entering TK* through 5th Grade in Fall 2025. Whether your child regularly attends church or is new to faith exploration, they are welcome to join us!
*TK includes children that are age 4 by 9/1/2025. Unfortunately we do NOT have a VBS program this year for children under the age 4 by 9/1/2025 requirement.
When and where does VBS take place?
VBS will be held from June 6th-8th at Mills High School in Millbrae. While our program is not associated with Mills High School, we will be using a portion of their indoor and outdoor facilities to host our VBS program.
Friday's session will be from 5-8:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday's sessions will be from 10am-4pm.
Is there a cost to attend?
Yes, standard registration is $50 per child. An early bird discount of $20 off per child is available through 4/27. A sibling discount of $10 off per child after the first child is also available. However, please don’t let cost prevent you from attending!
